Dr. Melissa Davies grew up in a small town outside of Burlington, Ontario.  She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Wilfrid Laurier University, a Master of Science degree in neuroscience from Queen's University and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2011,  from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. Dr. Davies has been riding horses since she was eight years old and was a competitive rider for many years in the Jumper divisions on the A-circuit.  She still enjoys riding her retired Trakehner, Eclipse even though he now moves at a slower pace!  During the winter months she enjoys snowboarding and is always waiting for the first snowfall so she can hit the slopes!
