Dr. Jennifer Montgomery was born and raised in Pembroke. She is the daughter of Philip and Sally Montgomery.    

Dr. Montgomery attended St. Jean Baptiste elementary school, Ste. Jeanne d'Arc middle school and Jeanne Lajoie high school.

After completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph, majoring in wildlife biology, Dr. Montgomery spent a year and a half working for the Canadian Food inspection Agency.  She then entered the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph and graduated this past May, 2011.

Dr. Montgomery lives in Pembroke with her cat Bugsy and enjoys year round outdoor activities such as canoeing, camping, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing.
