Dr. Virkamal Hans is proud to be a member of the Pembroke Animal Hospital family since she has earned her licence to practice as DVM in 2009 from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.

Her father as a mentor Dr. Hans grew up wanting to follow her fathers foot steps and become a Veterinarian from her childhood.

She says " I am fortunate to live a life that has been filled with challanges, adventure,laughter and love that has led me to my passion, Veterinary Medicine." 

Dr. Hans obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from the College of Veterinary Science GADVASU, India. She enjoys all disciplines of her job, especially the human-pet bond. 

Outside the Hospital, Dr Hans enjoys travelling, oil painting and outdoor adventure with her husband Raman.
